Welcome!
Wow, Election 2008 has come and gone. The results of the election were outstanding all around the nation and throughout Wisconsin. I am proud and honored to be the Representative-elect for Assembly District 57. Thank you for your support.
I am still catching up with all of the excitement that has been generated during the campaign, on Election Day and in the time that has passed since. I have been to Madison several times to:
- start orientation to the State Assembly
- meet the other freshman Representatives and
- vote for the Democratic Assembly Leaders.
My office assignment is 412 North. It is on the fourth floor in the north wing of the Capitol. The fourth floor location will give me some exercise and a great view of the area. I do not have my official legislative website, phone number or email. They will be coming soon.
The Ninety-Ninth Wisconsin Legislature will be inaugurated on January 5, 2009. I invite you and your family to visit me in my Office (412 North) in our State Capitol after January 5, 2009.
There is a lot to be thankful for at this time of year. I am indebted to the many volunteers who worked so hard and helped to make my campaign a success. I am also indebted to the office workers and staffers who made the Campaign for Change Office in Appleton an example of cooperation, steadiness and excitement throughout the summer and fall. Paul, Bob, Lucy, Bob, Andrew, Mark, Kevin, Daniel, David and all the other staffers….. Your hard work paid off. You are awesome.
Once again thank you to all the volunteers and all of you who used the website to keep in touch with me. This campaign website will be quiet for a while as I get settled in my office in Madison. Feel free to stay in touch.
Sincerely,
Penny Bernard Schaber
Representative-Elect
57th Assembly District
